Zilpah The Common Gigaper

This is Zilpah The Common Gigaper at Central Isra. Isra is a long continent that makes up most of the land north of the Equator. Abraha takes up most of the land South and West of the Equator and is connected to Isra. Gibeona is an Island continent that makes up most of the land South and East of the Equator.

Gigaper's are a large Omnivore Scavenger. They prefer to eat insects, plants, and fruit, but about 10% of their diet is made up of Dei Pax equivalent of eggs, small creatures equivalent to insects, and left over meat and especially bones from carcasses. They give birth to 2-3 egg like structures after 9 months of gestation and bury them. They hatch a few weeks later with the number of weeks being 2 weeks per egg laid. From that moment on they are on their own staying close together. They are rather gentle giants and honk their nose in a high pitch tone that sounds like a parrot. When they run they exhale loud enough that it sounds like someone playing a clarinet. They run on all four but can hop on their hind legs to reach and pull down the tops of trees to break off branches to eat or knock down fruit. They are covered in a calcium and chitin fiber that mimics the hardness of bones and earth insect exoskeletons in an overlapping scale like pattern. Unlike on earth insects they also have bones on the inside. There bones on an ounce to ounce ratio is harder then diamonds but are very light. There is 3 types of Gigaper. This one is the Common Gigaper. There is also the Spotted and Wooly Gigaper. The common gigaper can be splotchy, striped, or solid in patterns. The Wooly Gigaper is found in North Isra. This one the common Gigaper is found in East Isra and Central Isra and South Isra. The Spotted Gigaper is found on the Island Continent of Gibeona. 

It lives on the planet Dei Pax which is an Open Planet also created by me. You are allowed to include any plant or animal species both real, your creation, or your adopted on the planet. You are also allowed to put any of my Open Species or plants on your planet. The system I developed to allow such transport is a portal system. You can use that idea also. They usually are found in caves, underwater, sinkholes, on mountains, etc. Basically natural places but if you wish to have one of your characters engineer one or have them already engineered on the planet you can. You can use any of this without having to reimburse me in any way shape or form.

You can use any of my Open Species for profit without requiring any fees to be paid to me. This means points, books, movies, etc. All I ask is if you are making a profit you add species created by CRG-Free somewhere either on the piece, in a description, or a credit line anywhere on each product.

You can customize them to have any belief system, sexual orientation, age, powers, etc. This is a fully Open Species. Whatever you do with it is up to you as long as you give credit somewhere.

If you wish to make a large change such as give/take away horns, legs, wings, etc. please create a new species in the same family or create a new species and say inspired by it. However if you wish to change hair, size, colors, patterns, textures, different sized stuff such as giving bigger/smaller wings, tails, horns, eyes, etc. feel free to keep the same name.

Feel free to create Anthro, Chibi, etc. forms and call them the same species also. Any level of intelligence you wish to give them is up to you.
